College Goal Sunday is a non-profit program that mobilizes volunteer financial aid professionals from colleges
and universities to provide free assistance to college-bound students and families, individual, and on-site assistance to complete the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). College Goal Sunday is collaborative project with the Lumina Foundation,
the New Mexico Financial Aid Association Members and administrative support from College Success Network.  

Participants in the program recieve free, one-on-one help from financial aid officers and other qualified professionals
who volunteer their time to ensure students receive assistance in understanding and completing the paperwork necessary to receive financial aid.

- For the 2009 College Goal Sunday, we assisted over 700 New Mexico families complete FAFSA forms, many of whom were first time filers.  
-Approximately 270 volunteers helped make this years College Goal Sunday such a success.  To everyone that helped, Thank You!
